When hip-hop and cartoons collide, it’s truly a beautiful thing. If you were like me as a youth, Nickelodeon’s Fairly Odd Parents was a big part of your childhood. Need to jog your memory? Try watching this without cracking a smile 🧚🏽‍♀️

Then in 2005, Fairly Odd Parents School’s Out!: The Musical aired with some awesome special guests – hip hop legends Method Man and Redman – who voiced cartoon antagonists Head Pixie and Sanderson 🥁

You know Method Man from 90s hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan, but one of his best albums, Blackout!, is actually separate from the group with Redman. Peep my favorite song from the '99 project 👇

Larry June Keeps Rolling

San Francisco’s own, Larry June, is one of hip-hop’s most impactful independent artists. After being released from Warner Music in the mid-2010s, June went independent and started to develop a cult-like following due to his positivity, DIY and healthy brand 🙏

Since 2018, he has dropped 10 solo studio albums, with his fanbase growing significantly after each one. His most recent project, Spaceships on the Blade, released last week and features guest appearances from 2 Chainz, Syd, Curren$y and many more 🗣
