Festival Season Is Upon Us

It's officially that time of year again - where you go trap yourself amongst thousands of strangers, stand on your feet all day and night, and watch your favorite artists perform on a grandiose stage from a football field’s distance. Music festivals are bigger now than they’ve ever been, and there are a ton of amazing ones to look out for this year. First up, Dreamville Fest (April 1-2), which has arguably the most stacked lineup I’ve ever seen 👇

Drake and J. Cole co-headlining Day 2 is about to be CRAZY and there are a ton of other smaller acts like Summer Walker, JID, SiR, and Jordan Ward who will all kill their respective performances. I’ll actually be in attendance for this one and I cannot be more psyched. Next up, the one and only Coachella (April 14-16 & 21-23) 🎡

This one should be special because it marks the triumphant return of Frank Ocean, who hasn’t performed in front of a live audience since 2017 ❗️

Then there's Pharrell’s Something In The Water Festival (April 28-30) which never ceases to amaze me in terms of lineup and talent 👏

Pharrell always has some crazy special guests to bring out so this year should be no different. After that, we have the Lovers & Friends Festival (May 6) which is every 2000’s lovers dream come true 👀

This one would seriously have me crying from nostalgia. Lastly, we have the classic Roots Picnic (June 2-4), which is extra extra special because Lauryn Hill will be performing to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her masterpiece The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill

New Content

I’ve recently started two new content series on TikTok and I would love for you all to not only check it out, but also provide some input. The first is something called Favorite, Overrated, Underrated, where I take a random album I love and tell you (in my humble opinion) my favorite song, an overrated song and underrated song from that album. Peep the first episode on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy 👇

And the second series is something called The Best Song Was Probably On The B-Side, where I take a random album I love and tell you a b-side/deep cut that I think may arguably be the best song on the album. The first episode features Watch The Throne 👀

Last up, here's five brand new tracks you need in your rotation ASAP 🎧

Playlist here as always, enjoy your week fam 💜
