Drake and 21 Savage just dropped their long awaited collab, Her Loss, but I'm not here to give you my review. Every other news outlet and their mother is doing that, so here's my weird music nerd observation. Have you ever noticed that anytime Drake gets in his real rappity rap bag he starts dropping lines about pasta? Let me walk you through the history real quick 🍝

• On Stay Schemin’ he raps, “Spaghetti bolognese in the Polo Lounge / Me and my G from D.C. that’s how I roll around”

• On No Tellin’ he raps, “V-Live, I order the alfredo pasta / Then eat in the kitchen like I’m in the mafia”

• On Lemon Pepper Freestyle he raps, “Instant noodles, sriracha, I still taste it / When mama was too tired to cook and we had the basics / Instant noodles, sriracha, I still taste it / Now it's a movie, I'm back at Bellag', wasted”

• And most recently on Middle Of The Ocean he raps, “Short rigatoni with the pesto / These verses are my manifesto”

Gaga Killed My Vibe

Was there anyone on the planet more famous than Lady Gaga in 2012? She was quite literally on top of the world. Well, did you know she was supposed to collaborate with the hottest young rapper at the time, Kendrick Lamar? Yes, you read that correctly. Lady Gaga was supposed to sing the hook for one of Kendrick’s first hit singles B*tch, Don’t Kill My Vibe 👀

Unfortunately, she was unable to submit her part before the album deadline, but she did end up leaking her version of the song online shortly after. Check it out 👇
