Kaytranada Is Back

Louis Kevin Celestin, know the name? My guess is no. Celestin goes by the stage name Kaytranada and popped onto the scene back in 2010 when he dropped a series of mixtapes and remixes 💿

Fast forward a decade and the Canadian DJ is selling out venues, collabing with & producing for top artists and performing everywhere 🍁

Last week, Kaytranada dropped off a new single with Anderson .Paak and it’s one of them ones. The beat, production, vocals – everything is A1 🎹

But, it appears as if Kaytranada has some more unreleased heat in the vault...a collab with Childish Gambino. The internet is buggin over it, and rightfully so. Really gonna need this one yesterday Kaytra 👀

The track was previewed at a small show in NYC a few weeks ago, peep this video for a sneak-peek and let me know what you think 👇

Secret Kendrick Performance

This past weekend, Kendrick Lamar wrapped up the New York City leg of his world tour. After the Brooklyn show at Barclays on Saturday night, he popped over to Dumbo House for a very special and secret performance 🤫

Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Snoh Aalegra and more were in attendance watching Kendrick do what he does best...rap. The best part? You'll notice in that video that Kendrick gave Jay a shoutout for letting him borrow a line from Izzo (H.O.V.A.) for The Heart Part 5. I'll drop both songs here, see if you can find it 🗣

"I do this for my culture". That's the line Jay-Z let Kendrick use...for free. I broke down the entire story, and all I can say is I wish I was at Dumbo House last weekend 😓
